In collaboration with nearby Bucknell University, ADMI's vision is to expand and integrate clinical services, research, education, and family support for children and adolescents with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
At ADMI, psychologists:
provide clinical care, including initial diagnostic and ongoing care, as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary developmental medicine, psychology, neuroscience, and genomics team
work within a busy, stimulating clinical and research environment serving individuals with diverse neurodevelopmental challenges
develop clinical expertise and research interests through specialty clinics for fragile X, Smith-Magenis, 22q11.2 deletion, and other genetic syndromes
enjoy protected time to pursue research projects related to developmental brain disorders

The Geisinger Bucknell Center in Lewisburg, Pa., houses the first location and headquarters of this systemwide initiative, and features a state-of-the-art 3T neuroimaging facility. This joint effort brings together Geisinger's specialists in neurodevelopmental pediatrics, psychology, radiology, speech-language pathology and genomic medicine with Bucknell University's academic programs in neuroscience, psychology, engineering, education, mathematics, and computer science. Geisinger clinicians and researchers work side by side with educators, scientists and students from Bucknell to strengthen the multidisciplinary expertise of both institutions and obtain exceptional, personalized results for each patient.
