JOB SUMMARY:

Geisinger Health System is seeking a BC/BE, fellowship-trained Glaucoma Specialist at our campus in Danville, Pennsylvania. The new associate will join a well-established practice with more than 20 doctors representing multi-specialty Ophthalmologists and Optometrists.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a new graduate or experienced Glaucoma Specialist to teach residents and perform research while practicing in a new state-of-the-art-facility. Danville is located in North Central Pennsylvania, a beautiful area known as the Susquehanna River Valley that offers a hassle-free community living allowing for a balanced professional career and a fulfilling personal lifestyle.

About this position:

·       Advanced technologies: Wavescan and the Heidelberg OCT, Pachymetry, Atlas Corneal Topography and HVF: Humphry visual field, Octopus.

·       Lenstar IOL Master and an Immersion for lens calculations

·       Treatment options, including SLT Laser, YAG Laser, Argon Laser
