Balanced Lifestyle in the Heartland
We are seeking a BC pediatrician for a pediatric hospitalist position at LMH Health, formerly known as Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, Kansas.
As a repeat city on the “Top 100 Best Places to Live” list on Livability.com, Lawrence is the sixth largest city in the state of Kansas and is located just 45 minutes west of Kansas City and 30 minutes east of Topeka. Although it is a small city with a big-town feel, Lawrence has amazing culture, a diverse population, great shopping and entertainment. The cost of living is nine percent lower than the national average and housing is affordable too. There is no shortage of activities for the outdoor enthusiast – with 54 parks and open spaces, four golf courses, miles of hiking and biking trails and paths – there is something for everyone. In fact, Lawrence earned recognition from the League of American Bicyclists as a top “Bicycle-Friendly Town.” With a strong educational system anchored by the University of Kansas, it's no wonder Livability.com also ranked Lawrence number 7 on the 2017 10 Best College Towns list. With all that it has to offer, it is truly a great place to live and raise a family.
