The Department of Pediatrics, Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital and SUNY Upstate Medical University, is conducting a national search to identify a Chief of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
Over the past few months, our country and the healthcare industry have faced a nearly unprecedented challenge in the form of COVID 19, but the Department, Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital and SUNY Upstate Medical University remain committed in their effort to identify a new Chief of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
The incoming Chief will have the goal of advancing the field of Pediatric Critical Care medicine through patient care, practice innovation, research, and education. He or she will lead and support the quality improvement, clinical, academic and research goals set by SUNY Upstate Medical Center and the Department of Pediatrics. Additionally, the Chief will be responsible for the comprehensive operations of the Section and the clinical services of the PICU. The Chief will report to the Chair of Pediatrics.

Candidates for Chief of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine must be board certified in Pediatric Critical Care. Previous Critical Care leadership experience is highly desired. Academic rankings will be commensurate with experience.
