The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant -Urgent Care is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician, according to Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Protocol, and within the scope of the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License in the State of Wisconsin. This individual works within a cooperative department, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction. In this role, you will provide care for patients at our Marshfield, Stevens Point and Wi Rapids Centers.
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Required Education: Master's degree nurse practitioner. or Physician Assistant
Minimum Required: None
Preferred/Optional: Two years nursing experience.
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
