Children's National Hospital is a seeking a Chief of the Hospital Medicine Division with a national reputation to lead a large division in the field of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. This is a unique opportunity for a national leader to direct the next decade of growth for one of the most well-established, diverse, and active Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) Divisions in the country with over 80+ Physicians and Advance Practice Providers. The Division is well known for advocacy, quality improvement, and education. As one of the first PHM fellowships in the country, many current leaders in PHM have either practiced or trained at Children's National. Currently, the division is partnered with seven institutions in our region including the NIH, a pediatric rehabilitation hospital and several community hospitals in Maryland and Virginia. The next leader of the Division of Hospital Medicine will direct the continued growth and innovation in operations, research, advocacy, and education. This is an academically rigorous division which includes an ACGME accredited fellowship program.
