The Vice President, Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) is responsible directing and evaluating designated clinical and nursing functions and implementing and maintaining policies, programs, and patient care services that improve the efficiency and delivery of quality patient care in all CHCO locations and those staffed by CHCO through a management services agreement. In the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the designated VP, ACNO represents the CNO and assumes responsibility for the entire scope of the CNO’s responsibilities.

Position Specific Responsibilities
EDUCATION – Master’s Degree in health-related field is required
EXPERIENCE – 10 years of leadership experience
CERTIFICATION(S) – BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR, and an ANCC recognized certification. Nurse Executive or Nurse Executive Advanced required within 12 months of hire. Active member in a nursing or professional healthcare organization.
