Position Summary: The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) is to assist women in all stages of pregnancy, childbirth and post-delivery. They also work closely with obstetricians and gynecologists in diagnosing and treating women with acute and chronic illnesses. They will counsel and educate patients, conduct examinations and take detailed medical histories.

-Minimum of 3 years’ experience as CNM, required.
-Current licensure and certification in the State of South Carolina in good standing to practice as a Nurse (RN), required.
-Certified Nurse Midwife, required.
-American Heart Association Healthcare provider course with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to be initially completed with the TH Organizational Development Office within 30 calendar days of hire date (exceptions to obtain certification from a provider other than the TH Organizational Development Office are approved by TH Organizational Development on a case by case basis). BLS Recertification is required every two (2) years.
-Proficient with PC’s and Microsoft Office Software products, required.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills, required.
