The Department of Neurology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a talented grants manager to support a robust and growing portfolio of industry, federal, and foundation research grants. High level responsibilities include assisting faculty in preparing and assembling successful grant proposals and contracts as well as independently managing budgets for faculty grants. Successful applicants will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with faculty and research staff from basic, clinical, and translational science backgrounds. Exceptional organizational skills, verbal communication, written communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail are required. Proficiency in all Microsoft applications is also required. A minimum of three years in pre-award, post-award and/or fundamental budgetary experience is highly desired.
