The Cohen Children’s Northwell Health Pediatric Service Line and Department of Pediatrics at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/ Northwell Health is seeking a full time board eligible/board certified Pediatric Hospitalist to direct the In-Patient Pediatrics Unit and lead the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in Pediatric Hospital Medicine, the ability to oversee the quality improvement activities of the department, a track record in teaching and supervising residents and the requisite administrative skills.
South Shore University Hospital formally known as SouthSide Hospital is a 341-bed hospital with physicians, nurses and staff who provide health care services in all medical specialties. Located 30 miles east of NYC on the south shore of Long Island, the area has a lot to offer. Centers of excellence include Cardiology, Orthopedics, Neuroscience and Women’s Health.
