Overview
Busy developmental pediatric practice in Dallas, Texas seeks a full-time Developmental Pediatrician to join our interdisciplinary team which includes a developmental pediatrician, psychologist, and pediatric nurse practitioners. Our practice sees children with a variety of developmental issues including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, developmental delay, school challenges including ADHD, learning disabilities and school failure, behavioral problems, and more.
Our practice scope includes NICU developmental follow-up for infants at risk of developmental sequelae. We also see community referrals for common developmental concerns such as autism and ADHD.
⢠The pediatrician will need to be BC/BE in one of the following subspecialties: Developmental-Behavioral, Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, or neurology with experience in seeing older children.
⢠General pediatricians with a minimum of 5 years' experience and demonstrated interest in developmental pediatrics are also invited to apply.
⢠Scope of practice for the developmental pediatrician includes NICU developmental follow-up, evaluation and management of developmental delays, developmental testing, and medication management when appropriate.
⢠Physicians in the practice also supervise developmental PNPs
