Combined Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Pediatric Urgent Care and Pediatric/Medicine-Pediatrics Hospitalist physician staffing
Nursing staff with a combination of pediatrics and emergency medicine backgrounds
Resident teaching opportunities: EM, EM/IM, EM/FM, FM, Med-Peds
Academic affiliation with Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University
EMR (Cerner) and E/M coders

The Director of Education will partner with the Chair of Pediatrics, the Director of the Pediatric Center, and the Pediatric Nurse Educator to design and implement a longitudinal SIM and didactic curriculum for the Pediatric Center faculty and staff. The position will also provide opportunities for involvement in clinical policy and procedure development, as well as trainee rotation oversight. Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are critical. Board certification required. Experience in PEM clinical education and curriculum development preferred.
