Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Pediatric Ophthalmology
We are seeking an MD interested in a rewarding clinical practice with a clinical research component within the Division of Pediatric Ophthalmology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital & Medical Center. We will also consider an MD-PhD who is interested in combining clinical practice with a strong research component in either clinical or basic science. Sub-specializations are always welcome. Candidates can apply at the faculty rank of assistant, associate, or full professor depending on qualifications and experience.
We are one of the largest outpatient divisions at Cincinnati Children's Hospital & Medical Center. Our 10 pediatric ophthalmologists, 8 optometrists, and 1 orthoptist provide more than 40,000 outpatient encounters each year, caring for patients from across the United States and around the world. We have assembled a team of experts in subspecialties ranging from retina, cornea, glaucoma, ocular oncology, ocular genetics, uveitis, and neuro-ophthalmology.
We are offering partnership with strong collaborative partners within other clinical divisions and with researchers in the Visual Systems Group Laboratory. Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
???Doctor of Medicine OR Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine OR equivalent
???Unrestricted licensed physician
???Approval/credentialing from CCHMC Medical Staff Services Division
???Completion of all required pre-employment activities
???Assistant Professor appointment or eligibility
???Prior clinical practice experience may be required based on the needs of the department
