Overview
St. Luke's Neonatology in Idaho is seeking a full-time Neonatologist to join our team of 11 BC Neonatologists and 16 NNPs to assist with coverage of our four St. Luke's NICUs.
St. Luke's has facilities located throughout southwestern and central Idaho. This employed-provider practice covers the largest and most comprehensive NICU in the state at St. Luke's Children's Hospital in Boise, where we care for up to 61 critically ill newborns along with a comprehensive team of pediatric subspecialists. The Boise NICU is Level 4 (minus cardiac surgery and ECMO) and has an ADC of 37 with 750 admissions per year. The St. Luke's Magic Valley NICU in Twin Falls (Level 3) has beds for up to 18 infants, and the St. Luke's Meridian NICU (Level 2) has an additional 12 beds. Our newest Level 2 NICU in Nampa has 15 NICU beds, 7 of which are an innovative Family Care Suite design which allows for infants requiring NICU care to remain in the same room in which the delivery occurs, thereby avoiding separation of the infant and family.
St. Luke's Neonatology has been a VON member since 1992. We follow outcomes data closely and use it to drive quality improvement initiatives. CME opportunities and conference travel are supported and encouraged. Our team is committed to maintaining the highest quality outcomes and staying current with contemporary evidence-based approaches to care. In partnership with Family Medicine Residency of Idaho, we will begin a new Pediatric Residency program is anticipated to initiate its first class of residents in 2023. This will provide excellent opportunities for teaching and mentoring new providers.
Our practice values work-life balance, and we believe in providing a coverage structure that allows us to take advantage of the wonderful amenities that Idaho has to offer. We would love to discuss our current and future opportunities further with interested candidates!
