Job Description

As we continue to expand our Behavioral Health services, we have a full-time opening for a skilled Psychiatrist to treat child and/or adult patients in our Behavioral Health Department. They will work closely with our highly trained staff of Psychiatrists, Psychiatric APNs, Cognitive Behavioral Therapists, and Clinical Social Workers to treat patient psychiatric conditions in a short-term model, provide psychiatric consultations and collaborate with our Primary Care providers. They will also participate in continually developing and improving psychiatric services as the department and medical group grows.

We are seeking board-certified/board-eligible Child and/or Adult Psychiatrist.

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct patient care, including psychiatric assessment and medication management to patients in the Behavioral Health Department referred by our primary care, pediatric and OBGYN providers.
• Psychiatric consultations for referring physicians and treatment to patients face to face and via telepsychiatry.
• Educating and supporting physicians and nursing staff on psychiatric disorders and medication management within the primary care setting
• Developing psychiatry services and programs to meet the needs of the medical group's patients and providers

Successful candidates must be a NY licensed Child and/or Adult Psychiatrist.
