Pediatrix is seeking a Neonatologist for our practice in Covington, LA.

• St. Tammany Parish Hospital is situated in Covington, on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain
• 15-bed, Level III NICU
• NNPs staff the NICU 24 hours in-house with the neonatologist taking call from home
• ADC of 11 plus well baby

The City of Covington, founded in 1813, is a charming Southern community nestled among three rivers. An eclectic mix of boutiques, art galleries, specialty shops and restaurants line the downtown streets. Covington is probably best known for its Arts District. The nationally registered Historic District in downtown Covington is filled with art galleries of every medium and style. Special care has been taken to ensure the conservation of Covington's historic homes and buildings while also allowing for the modernization of its infrastructure. Surrounding communities are a huge draw including lakefront residences within Mandeville, the river in Madisonville and enjoying the amenities of New Orleans and Baton Rouge within an hour's drive. Additional recreational opportunities include hunting and fishing. The town of Grand Isle, famously known for its fishing, is also within an hour's drive.
