Akron Children's Hospital seeks a PhD Clinical Chemist or MD/DO Pathologist with Clinical Chemistry experience and certification to serve as Medical Director of Chemistry, Special Chemistry, and the Metabolic Laboratory. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Akron Children's is staffed by eight Pathologists and three PhD directors and is a regional referral center for laboratory testing. We offer a full menu of chemistry and special chemistry tests and have recently brought up a metabolic laboratory with mass spectrometry capabilities. The successful candidate will join the growing team. The position is predominantly clinical in focus, with clinically oriented research opportunities available.
