KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop software that meets the needs of our users
• Write code that is clean, tested, secure, maintainable and performant
• Work with stakeholders to refine requirements and understand their real needs
• Collaborate with other developers across teams on system integrations and best practices
• Design systems that adhere to security and process compliance
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines (we use GitHub Actions)
• Collaborate with cloud and DevOps engineers on application infrastructure, automation, deployment, and security
• Stay current with contemporary software engineering best practices

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (Required) and 5 years experience

***Desired Skills and Experience ***

• 5+ years of web programming experience, preferably in PHP
• Experience working in an MVC framework such as Symfony or Laravel
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
• Experience with modern programming tools (Git, Docker, CI/CD, etc.)
• Ability to talk with the right people to figure out what to build, then independently design and program the solution
• Good at communicating and working well with non-technical people
• Desire to convert a critical legacy application into modern, clean, modular, beautiful code
