Newborn Hospitalist Pediatric Nurse Practitioner , Beautiful Southwest Michigan
The Children’s Hospital at Bronson is actively seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Experience with newborns desired as this position will be covering a Level One newborn nursery located at Bronson Battle Creek in Battle Creek, Michigan. Responsibilities include attendance at high risk deliveries, newborn stabilization and assessment, daily rounding and management of stable newborns; as well as coordination and preparation of newborn for transfer to NICU when necessary. Shifts will include days, nights, weekend and holiday rotations. All shifts are in house. APN’s work autonomously in the 12 LDRP unit with the corresponding nursery facility with trained Nursery RNs, setting and directing plans of care for newborns. APN must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of MI with a Masters Degree in Nursing and certified and licensed as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the State of MI. Maintenance of CPR and NRP are also required. Position offers a competitive wage with annual CME allowance and an excellent benefit package.
