Mineola, Long Island, NY - NYU Langone Health, NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is seeking a candidate for a full time faculty position to join its existing department. Candidates will have earned a D.O., M.D., or equivalent and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Pediatrics (and possibly Pediatric Hospital Medicine, depending on residency graduation year and current ABP board certification criteria). Individuals who are completing fellowship or are early in their post-training career are encouraged to apply. Position available July 2023.
We are seeking a full-time faculty member to join our pediatric hospitalist division. We are looking for applicants with strong clinical skills, a commitment to academic excellence and experience in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. All members of the pediatric hospitalist division care for a wide breadth of pediatric conditions on the inpatient ward in addition to routine newborn care in the Mother Baby unit. In addition, all members are involved in quality improvement and patient safety work.
NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island is affiliated with the NYU Long Island School of Medicine (LISOM), a 3 year medical school aimed at training outstanding primary care physicians and leaders in areas of population health. As a pediatric hospitalist, you will be afforded opportunities for involvement within the medical school.
