As Medical Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, the physician is supported by the Quality and Safety Department (0.5 FTE) and will work closely with the antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist to direct the activities of the program at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware. They will be responsible to provide oversight for the development, performance, and effectiveness of the program. The Medical Director will oversee stewardship rounds with clinical services and unit leadership, development and implementation of clinical pathways and laboratory stewardship initiatives and program educational activities.
