The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care is seeking a Vice Chair and Chief of the Division of Pediatric Anesthesia at Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco (BCH San Francisco). This full-time faculty position is available at the rank of Associate to Full Professor. Candidates should have exceptional clinical, academic, and administrative skills and have national stature in Pediatric Anesthesia.

This key position requires a dynamic, passionate, and experienced physician leader, with a record of success across the spectrum: collaboration with other clinicians, scholarship, educational excellence, faculty development and recruitment, and community engagement.

• Faculty appointment with a premier academic anesthesia department
• Lead and direct Anesthesia Pediatric services, research, and education
• Lead pediatric anesthesia clinical operations at BCH San Francisco to ensure efficient utilization of clinical provider resources while delivering high quality patient care
• Develop and maintain a direct reporting relationship to the Chair of the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care.
