The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Cardiology at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Cardiologist to join our clinical faculty at the rank of Associate Professor and above.

The chosen candidate will join a dedicated group of pediatric and adult congenital cardiologists working collaboratively with Rush's Maternal Fetal Medicine team and Obstetrics Group in caring for our diverse and complex patient population. Responsibilities will include consultation and follow-up, with opportunities for program development, leadership, clinical research, and teaching. TEE and fetal echo skills/training are preferred.

The qualified candidate will be:

• Board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology
• Fellowship trained with a focus on inpatient and general non-invasive pediatric cardiology.
• Licensed or able to obtain a medical license in the State of Illinois to practice without restriction.

The ideal candidate will be mid-career with 5+ years of clinical practice with a focus in non-invasive imaging and has shown clinical leadership and mentorship experience in fetal cardiac imaging and inpatient clinical care. In addition, candidates should possess a strong commitment to education and research as Rush is home to an outstanding Pediatric training program - the position has a strong teaching component for medical students, residents, and fellows.
