Excellent Neonatologist Opportunity for a Small Baby Unit Director
Responsibilities
Seeking a BC Neonatologist to serve as Small Baby Unit Director for an established SBU program at Miller Children's and Women's Hospital (Long Beach Memorial), in Long Beach, CA.
MCWH is a Regional Level IV NICU with an average daily census of 55 and approximately 1,400 patient admits per year.
In addition to our affiliated Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians (+ fellowship program), there are Ob Hospitalists and full on-site pediatric medical and surgical subspecialty support including a pediatric cardiovascular program.
Services offered include maternal and neonatal transport, whole body cooling, iNO, Palliative Care Program, Telemedicine and a Small Baby Unit.
0.3 FTE of protected administrative time.
Director stipend.
Our NICU is part of a combined residency and fellowship program with the University of California Irvine and Childrenâ™s Hospital of Orange County.
Active participation in our robust CQI program is a must.
Coverage will also be provided at community hospitals partnering with MCWH.
Ideal candidate will have 3+ yearsâ™ Small Baby Unit experience and/or directorship.

Qualifications
BC Neonatologist
Must have 3+ years' small Baby Unit experience and/or directorship

Base compensation is $270,000 - $375,000 with director stipend and bonus potential
