Post Doctoral Fellow Neurophysiology
The Perreault lab at Emory University (Department of Cell Biology) is seeking a person to fill a new postdoctoral position. The successful candidate will investigate how the brain works when animals interact with their surrounding environment. He or she will specifically study how descending motor systems regulate sensory processing by spinal interneuronal circuits to identify general control principles that can provide effective motor output in real environments. The project will be carried out within a large collaborative network for comparative analyses in different organisms. The candidate will be expected to conduct experiments, write research summaries, abstracts for meetings and manuscripts for publications and will be encouraged to submit fellowship and grant p
