Carilion Clinic is accepting CV's for full time board certified/board eligible fellowship trained radiologists to join the Department of Radiology at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, a 763-bed flagship teaching/tertiary referral hospital with Virginia State-designated Level I Trauma Center in Roanoke, VA and the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Carilion Clinic consists of seven hospitals and serves nearly one million people in Virginia through hospitals, outpatient specialty centers and advanced primary care practices. Led by multi-specialty physician teams with a shared philosophy that puts the patient first, Carilion is committed to improving outcomes for every patient while advancing the quality of care through medical education and research.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret all imaging studies and participate in the shared call responsibilities of the department, depending on candidate's proficiency and comfort level, excluding mammography and interventional radiology. Candidates must be a graduate of an ACGME accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency and Fellowship Training is required for the positions. All Radiologists at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital have academic appointments at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and light teaching responsibilities for medical students and non-radiology residents. There are no expectations for research. However, participation in research is available for interested candidates.
